Don't be crazy. What do you think would happen if fox fabricated news stories? Look at what happened to the NYT when they did it. Fox just chooses to report certain stories that fit their target audience, or their agenda, just like every other news organization.

I think all the major television news programs slant their news to their audience. The problem is there is less news being reported but more commentary where the fabrication and slanting mostly is. A lot has to do with personalities, talking heads, and just showmanship - lots of highly paid ego's.
