I worked on this car all day and WOW is all I can say! The hood was oxidized to say the least. This car is a 2007 and has never seen wax once! :buffing: = me all day

Does the owner park this car on the planet Venus? lol... how can paint look so bad after only 4 years? Great work!

Is the rest of the car like that or just the hood? I can almost see a wiping/dabbing pattern, like someone tried to rub a towel on the paint but it was grabbing and rolling. Maybe the owner used some "creative cleaning" like some of the other pros show us here from time to time. Some type of solvent maybe... The sharp-ish transition between the dull and shiny areas is odd... At the front of the hood, not your tape line lol

The hood was the worst part but the whole car had severe oxidation not to mentioned some nasty swirls.

Just once, I would love to do an absolutely flawless restoration, but on only half the hood.
Just leave the rest of the car looking like absolute crap.
Make the customer drive it for a month looking just like that.
And I bet no one would even notice:cry::doh:
