Anyone else finding that detailing in this heat pretty much takes the fun out of it? Here in Indiana it's supposed to get pretty hot the next few days and add in 80% dew point and it's totally miserable!

I haven't done anything outside in weeks. Even used the coin op the other day for a quick rinsedown and drove home real fast but still had to deal with some waterspotting so never again...

when it gets to be 40C in Toronto, you know you guys down south must have it bad...

When I end up sweating so much I cant apply a LSP, that is not a good day.

Ha, I laugh in your general direction. I live in Naples Florida and recently friends and relatives way north have it much worse than I do. I'm lazy, what does 40C convert to Fahrenheit?

Well, Sunday it was 60* and rainy all day in Seattle. Yesterday it was sunny and 75*, and today it's cloudy again and maybe high 60's. Summer hasn't even started here yet. I would kill for the heatwave that everyone else is having.

I find it hard to detail when the temperature rises above 100F. My latest detail was done during a day where the high was 110F and the lows were just mid 80s... It was pretty hot and it just takes away all your energy.

I have a few cars to do, but thnx to UPS that wont happen but even if I did get my supplies I wouldve held off because of weather.
After a certain temp I work Poorly.

I'm pretty sure I can handle hot better than I can handle humid, then mix them together and it's miserable. I think it also affects LSP's ability to cure???

:iagree:

It's only, what, 156 or so days 'til Christmas?!!! It's been snowing, by then, here in Ohio. I just love the summer months. :) But like you, I hate the high, high, unbearable humidity.
