Whats up guys and gals....

So after taking a week to detail my car, my fiance's neighbors are asking me to do their car. Sure!!! I can use the extra money to go towards my upcoming wedding. BUT...I can't take a week off of work all the time. So I was curious...what suggestions do you have for a one day job (inside and out)? Is there such thing as an "all-in-one" polish and wax that can make a car look pretty decent? Forgive me for the little research I've done on this topic, as I thought about doing this on my long drive home from work. I understand that alot of it has to do with how the detailer operates and techniques, so please share some of your experience. Thanks guys!

Great all in one polish and sealant is Optimum Poli Seal.....Cleans,Corrects and Protects. I did a one step paint correction in this thread. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/38596-2007-acura-tl-optimum-poli-seal.html

An all in one will be your best bet for freshening up the paint in a reasonable amount of time. Personally, I like Meguiar's D151.

This link will take you to the main page.

all in one polish, car polish wax, cleaner wax, best car wax polish, Klasse All In One, one step polish wax, AIO wax, AIO paint sealant (http://www.autogeek.net/all-in-one-cleaner-wax.html)

DAMN!!! That Acura turned out really good!!! Thanks for the response. Do you do these jobs often? Would it be selfish of me to say I would like to use one pad and one product?

Interesting...so I have the PC 7424XP and some Lake Country CCS pads (Orange,White, and Red). Which pad would you suggest using?

all in one doesn't apply to pads though

depending on how "dirty" the car is after washing and claying, using one pad for the entire step, even with cleaning on the fly, is not good form. I'd say two to three pads are needed minimum.

Klasse is a good chemical paint cleaner but doesn't have much corrective ability.

I'd go with either of the previous recommendations of D151 or Optimum Poliseal

You might also check out Mike Phillips' articles including this one about matching your services to your client's checkbook, and how most people just want it shiny (or as one member says, just clean swirls)
