I am working on a van that has a GM black plastic (acyrlic) bug guard that is faded. What is the best way to clean it up?

I did one of those once. Meguiar's Ultimate Compound on a 4 inch Lake Country orange cutting pad with my DA worked great for me. Sealed it with Klasse AIO.

Really nice work. I wouldn't have even considered using compound and/or an AIO on a bug guard.

thanks for the info. unfortunately, i did not have any megs. I got the blue pad out and used wolfgang paint enhancer. Sealed with some Meg's wax. It looks brand new. I hope the owner will be pleased.
