Griot's Glass Polishing Pads Question

Anyone use the Griot's Glass Polishing pads? Any better than just using an aggressive foam pad?

If so, did you use Griot's glass products or something else?

I have used them a few times. I think they're actually a little too aggressive. After polishing I notice new micro swirls in the glass when driving at night under lights, although these seem to fade away after a few weeks of driving/washing. This is using the regular Griot's glass polish. Next time I polish glass I will probably try a yellow pad first.
