I have the Bosche Icons, the silicone ones, and they are now becoming a little streaky here and there. I'd rathe rnot dish out $45+ for another set. I have heard many myths on the proper cleaning agents, so I am now asking the pros. I have read about using either rubbing alcohol or WD40, but I am not sure yet.

What are some tricks you all have?

Thanks :D

I just wipe them down with Invisible Glass or whatever glass cleaner I'm using when I do the windows, but that's just me. I'm sure you'll get more replies soon.

try the 303 wiper treatment (http://www.autogeek.net/303wiptreat.html). it work very well and is alot cheaper than buying new blades

What I can't figure out is my wipers ar fairly fresh yet I can wipe and wipe and wipe them like 30 times along the blade with a towel and the towel still turns black like dirt is still comming off, always done that, never figured out why, all our vehicles same thing even the Lex.

i want to say that its the oil that keeps the rubber moist is wiping off when you wipe them with a dry cloth.

Is may be just me but the first time I used the 303 wiper treatment I thought is smelt like the aerospace protectant. I need to check that again. I know the stuff was white in the wiper treatment. Just a thought. Does anyone know if they are relatively the same?

When I've used AIO on the windows, it caused my wipers to bounce around a lot on the windshield. After a week, it settled down.
