Hello everyone, I decided to try the meguiars gold class rich leather wipes yesterday on my passenger seat. I wiped the seat down well with the wipes and waited a few minutes and then i wiped off the excess with a towel cause the wipes left the seat a little to shiny for my taste. Now when i sit in the seat it squeaks a lot. Why does the seat squeak now? I've used other cleaner/conditioners and didn't have this issue. Could it be that the conditioner didn't penetrate down into the leather?

Most leather seat's these day's are coated from the Manufacture(with a few exceptions).
You may have just cleaned the leather without the the actual conditioners being effective. You may want to try a dedicated leather "Conditioner".
