Hello from California.

After reading this forum for about 2 months I order the super swirl removers from Poorboy's (the samples) and a orange pad for my pc. I used the swirl removers this passed weekend and I got over 75% of the swirls on my first pass, that stuff is good I use the ssr2.5.

My question is I'm not sure what kind of polish do I need and should I use the orange pad?

I know Poorboy's have 2 different type of polishes I own a black 97 pathfinder and a 02 silver honda (the wife's) I like to stick with the Poorboy's stuff because I don't have a garage, I thank you in advance.

If you're getting the results you like from the SSR 2.5 and you want to stick with Poorboys, then maybe stick with that for removing the swirls and pick up a less aggressive finishing polish to follow-up after the SSR 2.5

You'll also want to get a few polishing pads and if you want to apply a wax by machine then one or two finishing pads.

Check this out too as you might be able to tweak your technique and get more swirls out with the same pad and product...
