Well I am a NOOB and wanted to introduce myself. I have always been into keeping my vehicles clean, but just never had the knowledge on the proper techniques. So I am hear to learn, and occasionaly throw my 2 cents in. I just got a PC at Lowes for a steal, and now I am looking to get everything I need as money permits. I have an 88 mustang that has some heavy scratches and oxidation, and a 02 silverado that needs a good polish and wax. I am really hoping to turn the mustang around since it is black paint. So anyways, HI! :D

Welcome. If you hang around here long enough you'll turn that Mustang's paint around in no time. Then you have to post pics!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am still trying to absorb as much of this information as I can. I never thought there would be so much information. I promise also to do a search before asking a question, as I know that can be frustrating. The mustang is my first car so I am hoping to get it looking nice from closer then 15 feet, LOL. O yeah, just got a new digi camera so I can actually put pics up. Glad to be part of the family.........:grouphug:

Thanks Florida Native. I have read through that. Right now I am trying to figure out which products to buy. So far I have a PC7336SP. Trying to figure out what else I need, but it seems like anything else, it all depends on preference.

My vote would be this kit. You just cannot beat the price for these products. :) http://autogeek.net/pin450.html (http://autogeek.net/pin450.html)

LOL, I was just looking at that kit. Seems like a heck of a great deal. It has bad oxidation and scratches, and swirls. Should I also get the nxt? I need to do a search to see if there is write up on just getting started what to buy. Especially MF towels. So much info, brain overload....

It should come to you via email. Just a head's up, it is only valid for one week after the date that you signed up. :)

This kit comes with a wax already (liquid Souveran) so you wouldn't need to add NXT. :)
