A vehicle, much like home, is an investment. It's an investment that you want to take care of, both mechanically and appearance wise. Maintaining your vehicle and keeping it looking nice is something that all us Auto Geeks take pride in. Waxing your car every two weeks is not something you have to do, it's something that you want to do. Whether you drive a 1987 Buick Century or a 2012 Corvette Z06, each and every one of us here at AGO takes pride in having a flawless finish on our daily drivers.

If you're like me, very few things are as irritating as coming out to your car in the morning only to find tree sap or animal footprints all over your freshly waxed car. While a quality wax or sealant will keep the car looking nice and protected from the elements, sometimes it's not enough. If you want the absolute best protection possible, look no further than a quality car cover.

At Detail Fest this year I was lucky enough to have my vehicle selected as the one to demonstrate the quality, ease of use, and excellent fitment that a Covercraft Car Cover (http://www.autogeek.net/carcovers.html) provides. This was my first experience with a car cover and I can honestly tell you that it's now a must have for every vehicle that I purchase from here on out.

Every night when I get home from work I cover my car with my Covercraft Ultra'tect Cover. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and by no means cumbersome. Every morning before leaving for work I remove the cover only to reveal a shiny finish that's free of any dust, animal footprints, or tree sap.

Covercraft has been building custom fit automotive products for over 45 years and is recognized as the largest Custom Fit Vehicle Cover Manufacturer in the world. Covercraft has partnered with us to give away a Custom Fit Vehicle Cover made with their exclusive Ultra'tect Fabric.

The thing that kills me is all of the dust that gets all over the car starting the day I wash it! I have a c6 corvette that isn't my DD so it sits in my garage a lot. In San Antonio it is around 100 every day and it has not rained in a few months so there is a ton of dust in the air which ends up on my clean car. With a nice cover I could keep it cleaner much longer. :xyxthumbs:

Living in NYC there are sooo many ways my new car gets dirty - especially having to be on the street 24/7 - got to save up for one of these.

Why do I want the best car cover made? Simple.

I am deploying in one more week for a year. I will only be home for my wedding in October, then back out for deployment. The poor Cobra is going to have to sit all alone in the storage facility. In fact, last night was its last night here at home in the garage. Today it gets tucked away. I would love to have something nice to place over it. Of course, I would have to have someone else (my fiance) do this for me, as tomorrow morning I leave home and will not be back until the wedding. I don't really have the cash to purchase one right now because of the wedding bill that seems to be getting higher and higher. I am lucky just to have it in storage and not in the driveway.

So I ask, no I beg of you. Please let me win this cover so the car can stay warm at night while it spends the next year alone without me.

Thanks.

Here is the car that would love to recieve a blanket for the winter. And for just $1 a day, less the price of a cup of coffee, you can help keep it warm on a lonely night.

Hey Nick, I think my signature says it all, and since I do have a full time job I don't really need a part time one too, though this car will always be a job I love to work at, I am always looking for ways to help make my work easier.

Ah come on now!! Keep your entry in. I think everyone should have just as much of a chance as I do at winning this. I am one who never asked for anything because of what I do. I just really enjoy what I do. My job is not a job to me. It is what I love. I had to come up with some reason my car needs the cover though, so I figured that would be a good reason. It is all true, I do leave home tomorrow after lunch. I got to have a great time with some friends last night, and tonight is all about the fiance and I.

Anyway, I am rambling now. Sorry. LOL!!!!

Nick, keep his name in. Good luck!!!

I know you aren't asking for it for what you do but because you will be gone and not able to give your Cobra your loving touch for a whole year. I don't even want to think about how much dust can build up in a year. I'm not going anywhere and I can wash my car anytime I want, so just for that reason I think you need it more than me.
(Also, Thank You for what you do! Be safe out there and I can't wait to see that Cobra all cleaned up again in a year and a day. The day is to spend with your new wife, you can clean your car your second day back.)

Gotta go with the other members and say declare James the winner. I sure as heck can't come up with a reason anywhere near as good as the one he posted.

I would love to have the opportunity to win a CoverCraft Car Cover because my car has never seen a garage since I bought it, in March.

The car is Daily Driven to work, and back and has to be parked outside and it sits there til the morning. I've washed and waxed my car night before car shows only to wake up and see that's covered in yellow pollen, and trying to rush and clean it again never works.

This car has already dodged two hail storms that rolled through last month. Both times I had to look ahead at the weather and drive 25 minutes to the nearest parking garage and park my car there and wait for the storms to clear. If I could of had a car cover, I would be able to stuff bed comforters underneath the cover itself and have plenty of protection. To give you an idea of what I've gone through, my friend's car that lives 5 minutes away from me got totaled from the hail storms.

So I ask you please, a car cover would do wonders to my recently purchased car and give my security at night knowing it will be beautiful in the morning.
