Does anyone have a favorite tire brush?

I'm looking for a new tire brush. I have been using the Meguiar's Versa Angle Tire brush for years on my truck tires, but I have grown tired of using it.

It's a really good brush and it cleans tires well, but the bristles are just a little too stiff for my liking when I am cleaning my truck tires. On the other hand low profile car tires are a breeze with it.

I was looking at the Mothers (http://www.autogeek.net/mothers-contoured-tire-brush.html) or Carrand Deluxe Contour (http://www.autogeek.net/tire-scrub-brush.html) tire brush, but I was also curious to see what everyone else is using for cleaning truck tires that does a good job without wearing your arm out.

This is what I use. I fill it with car wash shampoo and zep citrus. Works great for me.

I've used the same walmart tire brush for many moons now. It was one of the few things I bought that day while pondering what I needed for my Skybaby just after I bought her. After about 15 minutes of picking up and putting down NXT I left it down and came home to start searching on the Internet since I realized I knew nothing! A few years later here we are but my tire brush was never replaced so I have nothing to compare it against. Will be watching this thread to see if I need something different when I replace it.

I really like the Mothers one. A trip to a local janitor supply house may also turn up something and you have the chance to physically touch it and see if it fits your liking.

for tires, i bought this cheap stiff bristle brush at the dollar store. It has an arc shape to it and it works well. However after 5 months the bristles seem softer, maybe its me.

I actually never used to clean my tires before joining AG. They just got hosed off as good as I could get and then some tire shine might have gone on afterwards.

I bought the Mothers 3 piece brush set and couldn't be happier. The bristles on the tire brush are stiff enough to scrub the tires, but gentle enough that they don't cut into the rubber. The curviture is nice as it lets you scrub two different ways. One way forms to the sidewall of the tire and the other curves with the radius of the wheel. And the Mothers Red color looks cool!
