I am thinking to use 3000w power inverter instead of generator. Any suggestion with these two for mobile business (wash and detailing) will be highly appreciated

hi I been using a 2000 wt. I use it for my GG buffer and my shop vac frm Sears its a 2.5hp. 4 1/2 gal need a bigger one for my Makita but it works fine. if getting a generator those Hondas are great very long run time vs other brands know ppl who use them love them. they are exspensive approx 1000.00 for a 2000 wt Honda inverters cost approx 400

The only thing I would look at and consider is how much gas your vehicle is going to use by idling it (unless you're also going to invest in a couple deep-cycle batteries) versus the fuel consumption of a small generator.

You might find that in the long run the generator will be cheaper....

The Honda 3000eu is awesome! Perfect for the mobile detailers.

How expensive is the inverter? I have a 2300 watt generator I got from home depot. Its husky brand with a suburu motor. its compact, fairly quiet, and us able to run my mytee spyder extractor which is an amp hog. If you don't live in ca, I believe they around 350_$400 . Sadly if you live in ca you get to pay an additional $125 for the smog controls. I hate ca!

2200 powerhorse for 299 FTW for me ... 2 years old, same oil since startup (dont tell Northern please) sees about 20-30 hrs a week and starts up everytime on the first pull
