Gonna need a little more info than just the manufacturers name. What two waxes do you want to know about?

Which Meg's Paste and which Mothers? They make a few each.

Megs yellow paste wax -26, vs Mothers California gold carnauba paste wax

We make 2 different California Gold paste waxes - with cleaners (05500 Carnauba Cleaner Wax) and without 05550 (Pure Carnauba Wax).

The comparable product to Meguiar's M-2611 is our 05550 Pure Carnauba Paste Wax.

Is the 05500 comparable to Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus?

I've never seen guys use 26 as a stand alone product they always top something with it. Would 05550 Pure Carnauba Paste be Ok as an only wax or is it meant to use on top of another wax only?

Sorry to burst your bubble...But I'm one guy that does not always use M26 to "top" something else...it is a good stand-alone LSP, IMO.

Wow....Meg's #26, brings back memories. Have those old products been re-formulated like some of the modern nuba's have been?

Good to hear, I'm all for keeping it simple. :xyxthumbs:

Have you also used Mother's California Gold Pure Carnauba?

Keeping it simple, to me, also is equal to:
-Fewer trips around the vehicles...Just so many miles in the legs/knees.

-Yes...I've used many of Mother's carnuba waxes...Good stuff, IMO.

-I see you've got some M16...I've been out of it for awhile. :(

From this thread:

Its all I use, Meg's 16, 26, Gold Class Carnauba Plus, Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Gloss Liquid.

Mothers pure Carnauba is a joy to put on: a little goes a long way and if you have prepped well the shine is gorgeous. Actually, I like the smell of the Mothers as well: very pleasant! : )
