Just currious what people listen to when they are detailing... I know we have a thread about what you are listening to right now but this is more specific to when you are detailing...

Do you like Hard rock/Thrasher/Screamo While you are working to get you moving?

Do you like Oldies but goodies?

Do you like Jazz?

Do you like Hip Hop/Rap/R&B?

ETC....

Personally I love either Alternative Punk or Old School Punk!

I like it all (except country)!!! I just listen to whatever I'm in the mood for at the moment. The 80's, the Doors, Metallica, Eminem, U2, Usher... everything.

I kinda go back and forth depending on the mood that strikes. A lot of the time though I find myself landing on a country station while working for some reason.

Wow! We have some Hippies in the group! (lol.. J/K) I love most of those bands too... I am very eclectic!

Some of my favorite bands to listen to while detailing are:

Blink 182
Green Day
Pennywise
A.F.I
AAR
Anti-Flag
Bad Religion
The Dead Milkmen
Dropkick Murphys
M.x.P.x.
MCR
NoFX
The Offspring
The Bad Brains
Simple Plan
Rise Against
Weezer
Good Charlotte
The Ataris
The Mighty Mighty Bostones
ETC...

But most of this is not played if a customer is waiting in the lobby... I usually will play classic rock on shuffle or pop...

I was kidding... It is just that era of music... I had my classic rock playlist on one day and one of my ~40 yo customers said "dang you got the good brew playing! I love this jam set... This brings me back to the days where everyone was either a hippy or a total burnout! Hahaha! This is great!"

I thought it was funny!

On another note (lol... bad pun I know) If I am super busy I will throw on some death core or screamo then slam a Rockstar or a Go Fast and that gets me going!

Some of the bands of that genre that I jam to are:

Slipknot
As Blood Runs Black
Disciple
Demon Hunter
Alesana
Bring Me The Horizon
The Devil Wears Prada
Bullet for My Valentine
Drop Dead Gorgeous
ETC...

Great stuff if you are wanting Heavy
