Hmmm... Karma?

Check out the link for the video:

NBA Finals 2011: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade feign illness ... at Dirk Nowitzki's expense? - ESPN Dallas (http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nba/news/story?id=6648286)

DALLAS -- Dirk Nowitzki (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/609/dirk-nowitzki)'s sinus infection and the ensuing storyline apparently was a source of amusement for Miami Heat (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/mia/miami-heat) superstars Dwyane Wade (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/1987/dwyane-wade) and LeBron James (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/1966/lebron-james) before Game 5.
As they walked out of American Airlines Center after Thursday morning's shootaround, Wade and James pretended to cough and wheeze, smirking as they repeatedly covered their mouths with their shirts while being filmed by Miami CBS affiliate WFOR.
"Whoa, did y'all hear me cough? I think I'm sick," Wade said before turning toward James and chuckling.
This came two days after Nowitzki scored 21 points, including a critical driving layup in the last minute, while playing with a 101-degree fever during the Dallas Mavericks (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/dal/dallas-mavericks)' NBA Finals-tying Game 4 win. Wade had already made it clear that he believed the story of Nowitzki playing through illness and injury -- the Mavericks' superstar tore the tendon in his left middle finger in the series opener -- had been overblown. "I have respect for him as a great player. I'm not going to get into the injuries," Wade said Wednesday. "Everyone is injured at this time. I'm not going to get into the fun-loving story of him being sick, either. Once you show up on the court, you show up on the court. Everyone is equal.
"He's a great player without all the dramatics of the stories that's been going on."
Wade, who once had a shoe commercial that glorified his toughness, is dealing with his own injury now. He suffered a bruised left hip during a first-quarter collision with Dallas reserve forward Brian Cardinal (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/130/brian-cardinal) during Miami's Game 5 loss Thursday night, causing him to miss two extended stretches of the game.
"I don't talk about injuries," Wade said after Game 5. "It's unfortunate that I had to leave the game, but I came back and I finished it. ... Once you're on the court, you're on the court. I don't have no excuses."
Nowitzki still had a slight cough Thursday night, but his fever was down and he felt fine while scoring 29 points to help the Mavs take a 3-2 series lead.
"He may not be 100 percent," coach Rick Carlisle said, "but he seemed to be OK."

I saw that video on ESPN this morning. Pretty low of them but I'm sure if cameras followed us around all day we would end up doing something dumb like this.

The media has to turn EVERYTHING and ANYTHING into a huge story. To me, its not really a huge deal although it is embarrassing for them to mock Dirk and then get beat.

"Queen James" got a Dirk stuck in him anyway!

He really is nauseating.

I spoke of the irreverance of "Queenie-Poo" and his Friends in another thread of yours. Here's another example:

Being a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan I was flabbergasted when the Rupp Arena was disgraced by his mere presence awhile back:

Please, Dear Lord, take this burden away from me! :D

I can't stand either of those guys, but I think Wade bugs me even more because he's a total wimp. I thought he faked/exaggerated that injury last night (his hip didn't even hit the defender) and in the past he's been a cry baby too (carted off in a wheel chair crying because of a shoulder injury?).

LBJ is bad too, but half of it is based on how the media has built him up over the years.

In the Bible Christ said: "He who is without sin cast the first stone". Not saying I'm without sin; or, actually considering what follows as a "casting a stone"; but:

Befitting a person's character such as "Queen James" he probably won't be "casting any stones" any time soon either!

Seven Deadly Sins

Pride: is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity. You're So Vain~Carly Simon

Envy: is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation. DWade comes to mind

Gluttony: is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires. He has consumed (used up) most everyone he's played ball with

Lust: is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body. Just look at him--can't get enough of even himself

Anger: is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath. He gets pissed when he realizes he's not the center of the Universe

Greed: is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness. Ford Explorer, a Hummer II--with three TVs, retro uniforms, $100,000,000 in endorsement contracts...all while still in High School. His pro career contracts--with gangsta style under tones.

Sloth: is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. Although he has built his physical being into one of amazement, especially at his age, the Sloth in him comes out in NBA play-offs' crunch-times

Because of the depth that "Queen James" has fallen, I, along with probably many others, feel that the following quotation might be apropos:

If the NBA were on channel 5 and a bunch of frogs making love was on channel 4, I'd watch the frogs even if they were coming in fuzzy. ~Bobby Knight

I hope noone thinks that I'm coming on a little too strong though. :D

Lebron and Nike also confiscated a video tape of some kid dunking on him at his basketball camp a few years ago.

Good one ^^^

I wish "Queen James" good fortune, not in any NBA 'Final', but in one matter only:

I hope that is enough for him to pay "The Ferryman" Charon to ferry him down the river Styx as it winds its way nine times around Hades--surely it may be "Queen James"'s most-deserved, well played 'Final'. :D:D:D

Hoping I Don't See Ya There!!! :)

You can take it as being low or not. I did not. I didn't find it very funny, but I believe that's all they were trying to be. I also echo Stephan's sentiments, have cameras follow us around all day and I'm sure they'll catch us doing something stupid at least once a day.

Only once!?!?!?!?

A camera would catch me scratching my butt on the way to the coffee pot. And that would only be 4:00am :(

LOL what the deal with this quote I just read in an article

LeBron James had no idea what he was signing up for when he accepted the nickname “King James,”

Accepted? Hell he gave himself the name...

so Nike claims there is no video taping in their camps but i truely believe this was to cover up that Lebron can be dunked on. Just not sure why they want to cover it up? I mean if he is suppose to be the next Jordan then he should allowed this video out to give this kid his props. Back in late 80's/early 90's Jordan did a 1 on 1 session with a kid from a high school here in Illinois to show the country what kind of talent the NBA had to look forward to. The kids name was Ronnie Fields. He out jumped, out shot, dunked on and just actually out played Jordan and the video's were made public, He was noy afraid to show there was somebody better.

IF Chicago does sign Dwight Howard this off season Miami better watch out. i think Lebron was a punk B&$%^ to sign with another star to try to get ring. None of the greats had to do that. They all dealt with the teams they were placed on. Think about it if Jordan Bird and Magic said lets all team up and dominate. The 3 off them would have beat that Celtics streak of 11 straight championship from the 60's. What the 3 amigo's did last off season was all B.S. they had no intentions on going anywhere but Miami. There was no need to string everyone along
