Today's subject is a 1994 Infiniti, white pearl. The car is a mom mobile, daily driver. My client interview revealed that the car has not been washed or vacuumed in over 3 years. Rainfall was the only water to hit the paint. The client wanted a basic clean up.

Upon inspection, the paint was dull with virtually no areas of gloss. There were left over bird bombs, etching, mildew, etc on the paint. The painted bumpers were not polished since I felt that the paint was too unstable in those areas. The interior was an absolute wreck. The carpets were heavily stained from spilled soda, coffee and various unknown substances. The leather was severly cracked, dirty and weathered.

I recommended the client opt for a one step and seal. I had just received my first order of XMT 360 and was dying to try it.

I had more pictures but apparently I can't find the folder I stuck them in. My overall impressions of XMT 360 were very good. It was my first time using it and typically I had used D151 for my AIO. 360 worked well and I will certainly use it again.

Nice turn around for a AIO on that car.
I'm glad you liked the XMT 360. I'm about to detail my buddy's 2010 335 with that as well.

Looks like a different car. I've only used 360 once so far but it worked well. I like that it can be used in the sun.

Nice work Ed! I've yet to try out the XMT 360, but I have been booking more 1 step corrections lately, so I may end up picking some up.

Hey Ed,

That was no ordinary detail but more like a resurrection!! :dblthumb2: :dblthumb2:

I must admit that my first impression was; "you've got to be kidding"!

I would have loved to see the expression on her face after seeing the car after it was finished.....Priceless!!

what's going on in pic number 2?

was that a bumper or something? Can something like that even be buffed?

nice after's though.

Reminds me of this program I was watching the other day that said that 70% of women let their cars go to heck b/c they would rather spend money on things that enhance their appearance, and not their rides...

That is one fantastic turn around. I am almost in shock at how bad that car was.

Thanks for the props guys!!

Pic 2 was of the front bumper. The paint failure was the same all around. I felt the paint to be too unstable to polish. Adding heat and friction from the Flex certainly would not have helped the already bad situation. The client understood the issue and was fine with it.
