I'm sure there are products that claim to remove swirls/fine scratches on vehicle radio len's but has anyone succesfully used one of these products and acheived the results to make the radio face lens look like new again?
What products are succesful in removing these swirls?

I scratched the lens on my HU (7200mkII) with my fingernail, and I tried some scratch-x with a somewhat course pad (my mistake), and it looked so bad when I was done- I thought it was done, so then I gently buffed it out with a very soft foam pad and soft mf with some plastix, and it turned out great.

The only issue I see with the lens you're working on is that it is reseesed with a border which will be tough.

Had used Brasso Metal Polish (of all things) on mine last year and cleaned up the lite scratches.
Haven't touched it with any products since.

If you try to polish it, be sure to tape off all the surroundings to be sure you dont stain them.

Plastic polish should work (Novus, PlastX, etc.)

But I have a question: who is Len? :poke:

I've gotten great results from the Meguiars Plastic Cleaner and polish. I also use Griot's Plastic Cleaner and polish with great success. I use a soft microfiber to polish with.

Looks like i'll be taping off the area and using some plastic polish and either a soft MF or soft foam finger pockets,to attempt.

Yeah I seen that Scott but I talked to Bobby @ AG on the phone this afternoon and I asked him if I should go the Meg's PlastX first,he agreed.
If that doesn't do it,i'll try the Meg's 2 step.

I'll also go with Novus. Gave me the easiest and best results after putting on a product I shouldn't have on the plastic covering the speedometer that clouded over the plastic so bad I thought I would never be able to get it clear again. Novus made it like new again with minor effort.
