So I want to learn this but don't know much about it. Can anyone help me out. Some tips, techniques & what brands work best.

Are you looking to change the color or just give that new look to the existing carpet?

Sorry just for carpets that have stains that just won't come out.

Google Detail King. I have used both the aresol and the water based concentrate with much better than expected results!

I just did a friends 94 mustang that has light grey carpeting and it came out looking like new(used the liquid that comes concentrated). There were normal stains and some faded areas. Looked like brand new. Well worth the few bucks. The spray works great on removeable mats but if you are doing the actual carpet, I would suggest to go with the concentrate as the overspray doesn't get everywhere.
