I took this pic just after an Iron X soap gel and dawn wash. Check out the gloss!!! :dblthumb2: I swear it looks more glossy than when I had any LSP on it! Now off to applying Supernatural Hybrid!!!

Great stuff...:xyxthumbs:

I know the cheap hand washes round ourselves use TFR ( traffic Film Remover ) and they always look super shiny.... till the next day...

Sick vette indeed! I feel mine has much less gloss when only topped with a paint sealant, but there is usually mad crazy gloss after a wax.

Just applied the hybrid last night. Not as slick as regular supernatural the next day. Apply it thin and rotate the towel every panel!!!

Goes to prove that it's all in the prep and not the lsp. The way you take care of your ride Mark, bet just routine cleaning would not damage the clear coat. By that I mean no sealant, no wax, just soap and water.

Goes to show that the only way to get that "wet look" is to wet the car. ;)

A lot of it has to do with proper washing and overall care. For instance, parking indoors vs. outdoors, daily driver vs. not etc.... A lot factors come into play. Nice ride and super gloss.

I had a partial repaint after an accident a while back with German made Glasurit paint. The online care info I found for Glasurit auto paint states that it should never be waxed, just washed with a mild soap. It's a light grey, similar to the OP's vette but darker, and it shines like that with nothing on it. BUT... a coat of WGDGPS makes it look even better. I've tried others, like pinnacle LS, but I prefer the WG on this light color. It looks amazingly wet and glossy with tonnes of "jetting" in low light situations. I'm complemented constantly.
