Hello welcome.

Those are some very broad questions. Have a look around at some of the post here first then come back with a single more specific questions and you will find more responses. If you are starting mobile, figure out if you are going to be just offering washes or full paint correction. Interiors shampooing or not...... and so on. Perhaps you can offer just a few services like a wash and interior vac with window cleaning to start. Then add services as you financial and personal capabilites allow. I would suck to spend a ton of money to get everything you need for a full service and only find that it isn't for you.

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

Thank you for introducing yourself... As Jim posted, you ask some pretty broad questions...

Here's an article with some tips to give you something things to think about...

A few tips on starting a part-time detailing business (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-make-money-detailing-cars/27827-few-tips-starting-part-time-detailing-business.html)

Lots of people start all kinds of businesses on a whim and they end up going nowhere. If you're serious, then doing some research like Jim posted is a good first start.

If this is just something to make a few bucks now and then we help you with that too...

The intro forum is for just that... introducing yourself, if you want to ask more questions about starting a business or detailing in general, there there are specific forum groups for those topics...

How to make money detailing cars (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-make-money-detailing-cars/)

Post your intro thread here but post topical question in the related forum group (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/introduce-yourself/20177-post-your-intro-thread-here-but-post-topical-question-related-forum-group.html)

If you're new to detailing, then I would recommend taking my Detailing 101 Class coming up in July, you'll get to try out different polishers and how to use them plus tips on starting a business...
