How much wax to use.

I have the griots polisher and a red pad. I am using souvern paste wax and was wondering how much to use for a car. When u put it on the pad how big of a area can use before u need to put more on. I think i might be using to much.

You want a thin layer on the paint, no more, no less.

One of my friends shared a tip they used to get an idea of how the amount of wax on their pad and that was to place the pad on one of the windows as though you were applying wax to the window, (do this in a smooth motion, that is from paint to glass), and then look to see if you're running out of wax or putting too much on.

On white and light colors it can be hard to see how much wax you're laying down...

I obtained the tip from someone else but cannot remember who or I would give them credit as that is my normal practice...
