Plastic Wheel Covers

I've got some dirty plastic wheel covers.
I'm thinking of cleaning them and then perhaps a clear coat of some kind of spray paint.
Any product to recommend or avoid?

I don't do painting, but clean them with Zep Citrus at 4:1 (water to product) and then seal them with Duragloss 105.
