Drying the car with my new leaf blower didn't help with water spots, nor the fact I'm on filtered and softened water.

Might have to go back to the towel method

last week, i detailed a black mercedes and i was in full sun. i knew i wouldnt be able to wash the whole thing and then get it dried before the sun baked in the water spots.

as i finished washing a section, i dried it w/ MF. then moved on to the next section. obviously, i did a lot of double work with drying, but in the long run it is worth it.

I usually follow up my leaf blower with a WW towel anyways. The leaf blower is just to blow off the excess water, so you're only left with a minimal amount to wipe off.

I dry with water and use the leaf blower for nooks and crannys. Then follow up with a waffle weave.

blow off excess water, then spritz with detail spray and lightly wipe or blot. No spotting !

Detail spray, Aquawax or vinegar if the spots are already there.

Wonder if its the cheap-o car shampoo.
