1 step/Klasse/Sig II. LOTS of pics!

Sup guys, been a little slow lately and haven't had much time detailing cars. So couple days ago while I was waiting for my AG package, I went to start detailing my car. This is a very heavy pictures thread about 280 pictures. I hope this may help some new members and novice detailers. Don’t have much before pictures, the car had very light swirls. My dad brought it in for service and I got a free wash. :(

Started to power wash the car, to rinse any contaminant off the car. Then foam cannoned the car with Hyper wash/APC+. Then rinsed with power wash.

Started taping some parts of the car. This was my first time taping. I don't think its really necessarily for M205 because it barely dust. But taping can save headache when working with M105.

My computer had a heart palpitation trying to open all those pics...man I love that shop...can't you get us in there for a meet??? Poorboy Steve's parking lot is going to look pretty lame compared to that, no matter how much Pockets tries to cheer us up...

I see that you're using Autoglym HD's applicator pad. How does it work with Pinnacle SSII? Did it dry up on you?

Also, how were you able to get in the Lexus service area?! That's a nice place to take pictures and the lighting really makes the paint pop!

I work at Lexus as a detailer. I don't think I was suppose to take pics inside, but I really like their lighting. :)

Yeah I agree the fluorescent lighting is great when taking pictures of cars. I think it really brings out the shine of the paint and the reflections are amazing!

My AGHD applicator pad always dries out on me. I always have to wet it 3x before I can finish the entire car... The AGHD wax also repels water well so the contact patch remains dry even if I drench it with water lol!

I soak the sponge before apply wax/sealant then ring out all the excess water.
