first i have seen of their new trim product. wonder how it stacks up?

Meguiar's Direct Meguiar's Ultimate Black (http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G15812)

will have to look for it.

I'm sure it fits right in the Meguiar's lineup...super affordable, easily available, good performing products. Will it perform like G4 or UTTG..?...mmmmmm, no.

I think this is the same stuff that last year was called Ultimate Dressing. It's good stuff, better than the silicone dressings, but as silverfox noted, will be outperformed by more expensive products.

Yup, same stuff. "They" just renamed it (this from MOL).

It appears to be the exact same thing as Ultimate Protectant (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-ultimate-protectant.html). I use it and like it. If applied thinly and worked into the trim with a foam pad it won't rinse off in the rain and should last roughly one month.

Just got an idea - anyone ever try applying this with a 4" pad on a PC7424XP? Looks like I've got a test to do! :D
