So today a neighbor asked me if I can fix her headlights. I just wanted to share some pics, since I haven't been getting much side jobs.
I cleaned the surface then wet sanded it with 1500 grit. Then used DA with orange pad/M105. Then applied sealant on headlights.

What size pad did you use? That looks good!

I used 5.5 orange. I got new 4 inch pads coming today but she wanted them done before she went out today.
I think the 5.5 inch pads were a bit bigger for headlights, the 4 inch pads can get closer to the coners.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. I don't have 4 inch pads so I guess I might get some and a smaller backing plate. Good job once again!

Thanks maximus! Headlights are easy to do and the pay is good.

Thanks Marc, I been trying to get the world out that I'm starting up my own business. But now I'm only free Sunday and Mondays until I build enough clients where I can leave my current job at Lexus.
I hope you will enjoy your AG HD! Tell me how you like it.

That is honestly one of the best outcomes I've seen from a headlight system. Most of the time the headlight clears up a bit, but some sections have a warped clarity.
By the way, what system did you use to get those outstanding results?Feed back please

Wow great job! I wouldn't have thought 105 & orange pad would finish down that well on plastic. :xyxthumbs:

I wet sanded it with 1500 grit then used a DA with orange pad/Meguiar's 105. Then wipe it down and cleaned the area. Then I applied some type of headlight sealant I got from a detailing store.

Yeah I'm always amazed at what that combo can do.

Thanks Tim! I got a few job coming up maybe. Talked to two other people who wanted their TL detailed. One wanted one step, and other wants a 3 step. And my neighbor has a new 2011 TL in black that wants his car one stepped this Sunday.
Can someone help me with pricing?
I was thinking 200 for one step
250 for two step
and 300 for three step.
What do you think?
