DP wheel glaze is a special type of polymer sealant designed for wheels. It makes wheel cleaning easier (using just soap and water), has antistatic properties. Out of 3 products designed for wheels (DP, Poorboy's, and Wheel Wax), I recommend DP wheel glaze. It will last the longest - aproximately 4 weeks.

Will it make them look better? and will my normal mirror glaze do the same thing?

Most paint sealants can be used on wheels with nice results, the DP Wheel Glaze also offers some very light final cleaning. Its a nice product, and relatively cheap.

Would caranuba be more of a shine?

Caranuba won't work because of the tempatures your wheels see.

ive heard carnauba will attract more dust so thats a No no on wheels

i use DP, but i have heard great things about poorboys as well, and bad things about wheel wax so i wouldnt buy wheel wax.

Wheel Wax is donky crap, DP Wheel Glaze and Poorboys Wheel Sealant are where its at. Myself, I just use some AIO and light coat of EX-P, my trucks wheels went almost 2 months with that stuff. Just this past weekend did the beading and dirt repelling noticeably stop. I would just wash with regular car soap and they'd come sparkling clean every time.

Wheels get very high temp, so carnauba will melt right off.

I have used DP Wheel Glaze and Wolfgang DGPS on my wheels. DP wheel glaze does a good but the only thing I don't like about is it's hard to get off especially if your compare to Wolfgang DGPS. I think DP Wheel Glaze may do a better job but I have not really put the two to a test. Wolfgang DGPS is definately easier to use.

DP Wheel Glaze has some light cleaners, and will take a little longer to remove. Poorboys is a little easier, maybe, and you never wanna use Wheel Wax. It gone at first wash and not worth the trouble.

Does the wheel wax shine like hell though?

nope ... and falls off rather quickly from heat. I always thought it was carnauba based until seeing the label. The two others actually handle the heat better.

That reminds me to order some Poorboy's wheel sealant.
