I finally got a chance to try out OPC on some leather ... which is primarily why I bought a gallon. After reading through the very long thread on leather cleaning, I decided that I needed to have OPC in my collection, and today I gave it a workout.

As they say, shiny leather is bad leather .... This was my application method (about 2$ at the grocery store [I got the idea from someone else on here]) filled with OPC at 100%

So I went to work on the drivers seat:

OPC worked amazing well on leather, and I am very happy to have it in my collection.

For those that don't know what opc is?? Did you use it straight?

Really impressive results! How hard did you have to scrub to clean it? Is the stuff pretty strong?

Optimum Power Clean. He said he used it full strength.

Nice!!!! It's easily my favorite all purpose cleaner as many of you know. It's perfectly safe at full strength. I use it at 3:1 and full strength, nothing less than that.

Nice work. Great photographs as always. I have been using OPC for a while now and I love it.

Same here. As soon as I've run out of my other APC products, OPC is probably all I'll stock going forward.

What a neat brush applicator. I'll tell ya, the things I learn on this forum...

I was gently scrubbing, just enough to get some good agitation. Chemically it seems to me to be pretty mild, there was not a strong chemical smell or really much of a smell at all. Granted it was not aerosolized with my application, so YMMV.

I'd love to get a gallon of this stuff; I've only seen positive reactions from it's use, just the cost is high. OPC would be a huge upgrade from the Simple Green I've been using.

I know what he said, I can read. Wasn't sure if it was safe at full strength on leather.

What is the brush applicator, who makes it? Looks like a handy little gizmo.

Bill,

Nice review with photos to boot! It's an amazing product and that applicator is as slick as I've seen in quite a while...:props:

I think I said in a post a while back that Optimum is really on a roll. They simply continue to put out great product after great product. Now when you think it can't get any better, they roll out Opti-Coat to the public which in time will probably be seen as revolutionary and common place as ONR is now. They must be an exiting company to work for.

Now if Dr. Ghodoussi could only get us off our dependency on oil...
