Hello everyone. My name is Chris and I live in Orange County, NY. I have been detailing cars since the mid '80's. I started with my parents vehicles and eventually got a job with a detailing company. After several years, I moved on and just maintained my personal and family vehicles. This past winter, I was bitten by the "detail bug", and after doing a Google search, I found myself here, reading about all the new products and techniques in car detailing. So, after buying several hundred dollars worth of supplies, and reading and re-reading Mike's articles, I did my first paint correction to a 2003 Ford Expedition (white). I wish I had pictures for everyone before I started, but after I did my test section, I couldn't believe the results! I was so amazed, that I just wanted to get it done. Now that it's finished, the "boss" doesn't want it to come out of the garage!

I would like to thank everyone here for posting their tips and suggestions. Also, Mike's "how to" videos were a big help. Thank you, Mike.

I look forward to learning more and hopefully I'll be able to share my knowledge with everybody here.

Welcome to the forum Chris.

Many of us have also been attacked by that same "detail bug".
