How to remove marks from plastic wheel trim

Hi All,

My wife has a Toyota Corolla which has the plastic wheel trims. They were pretty soiled and dirty, I used P21 wheel cleaner and then washed them with a wheel sponge, they have come up much better, but in parts there is black brown stains that are still there and I cant remove it.

Any ideas on what I can use to remove this?

Over time brake dust will in bed itself into the material. You might need a good acid based wheel cleaner.
