Anyone know a good foam soap and what dilution would be good to use with a concentrated soap for a 32oz bottle?

I use DP Extreme Foam. Foams up great in my foam gun and in a bucket. It smells like spearmint.

How many oz you used?

I bought an $11 concentrated soap from a local distributor. I know that soap to foam real good I used it before to shampoo carpet but never with a foam lance. So I was using about an oz or 2oz of it. I didnt get that thick foam I was looking for. Then I read the label and it said to use 4oz to 8oz of soap per vehicle wash. Sounds a lot to me but I am going to try that tomorrow maybe it will get better.

good stuff! :xyxthumbs: i use this in my gilmoure foam gun. about one pump from the gallon container. 2-3 oz. i use the next to last setting on the gun. only other foam soap that i have used that gives the DP a run for the money, is CG maxi suds II. if not a tad better? than the DP.

This works really well and produces a ton of foam..:props:

Others that produce allot of foam are:

Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo
Wolfgang Auto Bathe
Duragloss 901

:iagree: I use this in my foam cannon and my 2 bucket wash. It really leaves a thick blanket of foam on the car. I use about 2-3oz for my 32oz foam cannon bottle.

I give a vote for DP extreme foam as well, stuff works incredible in the foam cannon. IMO it foams thicker and stays longer on the vehicle than other soaps I've tried in it.

I agree. imo they both are really good foaming soaps. As much as i like the DP i would have to give the edge to CG maxi suds II.Better price and i think they foam just about the same.

Anybody know how optimum car wash compares to Maxi Suds II when used in a gilmour foam gun (not pressure washer with foam cannon)?

Thanks!

I just play with the mixture knob until I get a good thick foam. I have a foam lance I got off of ebay (same thing as the foam cannons sold here at AG). I have a 1500psi electric PW that I use for this and it really seems to work well for me.

I should note that when I'm doing a winter clean up or a heavily soiled car I'll add in some APC to my mixture, usually about 2 oz. This seems to bump up the thickness as well. The pics of the Accord and Equinox are this mixture. The Porsche was just straight DP Xtreme foam.

I think we got the same foam gun :)
