hello everyone,i finally got around to introduce myself. my name is steve and very interested in detailing. i have a black gmc shortbed and a dark green trailblazer.ive been reading all the information on detailing and have gained a lot of knowlege from all. now its time to put all this knowlege to work. it will take a little time to learn. ive never used a buffer before. thinking of getting a meguiars 110v2.

hi, tim. wish i had your weather here, its too cold here in garden city, mi to do anything. no real detailing for probably another month.

have had numerous black cars and trucks. i know its a lot harder to work on, but thats the fun of it. and when its done it looks so good.

After reading and understanding some of the basics, the more hands on your are the quicker you'll build your knowledge and gain experience.

Wash
Clay
Paint Correction & Polish
Seal
Wax

Make detailing enjoyable and practice. Take your time and do not become overwhelmed. Just because there are a thousand product doesn't mean you have to use them all.

Pick one product from each category from the steps above. You already have some great waxes so you're that far ahead of the game..
