Hey guys!

I am looking to buy a hose reel for a outlet at the side of my house. Believe it or not I've been through so many of these hose reels that either broke, unwind/wind like crap etc so if you guys could recommend me a good one that has worked for you during the years that would be great. Wall mount or a standing one is fine :)

Thanks!

I've personally given up on using a hose reel. I just wind mine up and lay it on the ground next to my spicket

Garden Hose Reel, 2-Wheel Cart (http://www.rapidreel.com/Catalog/Product/1/9511/2-Wheel-Cart---Garden-Hose-Reel.aspx)

If I were to get another one, it would be something like this ^

best reel on planet earth i kid you not. own two and the one with the cart and wheels is bulletproof. you can get the reel larger and handle up to 150 feet of hose if you need it.

Rapid Reel.................the last hose reel you will ever buy. at $130 it is expensive but well worth it. you will never buy a cheap ass plastic garbage hose reel again.

Thanks for the suggestions :) Rapid wheel it is! I am probably going to get the wall mount. Anyone know a good hose to go with it? It can fit up to 100ft I presume?

I am planning on getting this hose along with the Rapid Wheel.

Not what you asked but I have a 100' ft 3/4 Gilmour that is very bulky but well worth it! My wife didnt want a commercial grade reel in front of the house. We bought the biggest flower pot they had at Lowes. It looks like clay terracota (I think) but is made of plastic. We used a door knob drill bit and drilled a hole in the bottom for drainage and one on the lower side to insert the hose and run it through. This is much bigger than hose buckets of similar design. But it needs to be for a 100' 3/4 hose. I pull out what I need and it coils back in after. Mrs. OT is happy and I am too! Pot costs about $40 as I recall!

I found that getting one with a warranty and actually keeping the receipt actually "seems" to negate anything going wrong and heck if it does you got the goods to repair/replace.

Do not cheap out on hose. I tried that. Damn piece of monkey poop broke during its first car wash.

Thanks for the links on the hose reels. I want to buy a new one.
