Cleaning tires with AA foam

Should you clean the tires first, and then the wheels? Because then you dont get tire shine on the wheels. But then your rinse bucket has your tire shine and tire grime in it. Any ideas?

I clean the the wheels first, then tires. but I don't use AA tire foam on wheel. I prefer just soap and water.

Clean both at the same time. Dont apply the dressing until the wheel is done being cleaned. Use separate stuff for the wheel and tire.
