Hey all
I just got my car back from some paint blending, and the guy who painted my car said I need to wait 120 days:eek: before I can wax the repainted sections. I had a feeling that would happen since it would hard to bake the seconds he painted, but he said if I'm detail crazy, he could recommend some 3M products I can put on it during that time to make it look good. So, tossing aside wax and sealants and pretty much anything that's not body shop safe, what do you recommend I put on it during that time to make it look good, or just leave it be?

I would follow the painters recommendation, if he says 120 days, so be it.

Here's some products recommended by Mike P., in articles that should more than answer your questions.

Suggested products-

Meguiars #7 Show Car Glaze (http://www.autogeek.net/meg7showcarg.html)
3M Imperial Hand Glaze (http://www.autogeek.net/3mimhanglaz.html)

I remember those article now....might have to get the #7 out of the back of the shelf.
Would using Ultimate Quik Detailer be a a bad move here?

Maybe the painter used Dupont. That's what Dupont says about waxing: wait 120 days.
