Hey everyone, just wanted to get all your opinions on what buffing, polishing, and wax compounds you like to use. Im currently using 3M and i would like to say its an awesome product, but expensive. Im looking for something a little cheaper but not out of the 5 dollar bin. i know you pay for what you get but you also pay a lot of money for brand names. at almost 30 bucks a pint, doesnt work to well on bigger vehicles. What do you guys like to use that has good results and is priced decently. Thanks all!

For compounds and polish I really like the Mothers Professional line. It works great on both a rotary and a DA using both foam or MF pads. Plus it is reasonably priced IMO.

Waxes, I line using to many brands to pick one or two.

Menzerna aint cheap ... but it works and worth every penny. Megs is usually reasonable in price and performs well.

I have gotten to play with Poorboy's World swirl removers a little bit (I have SSR 2.5 and SSR 1) and they work pretty good and are very nicely priced to boot ($15.99 for 16 oz, $24.99 for 32 oz.).

Meguiar's M105/M205 are very good products as well if you don't want to shell out the money for Menzerna. The 32 oz. size of M105 is on sale for like $24 right now and the 32 oz. of M205 is $28, so there's something else for you to consider. Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is very good as well, is cheap (around $7 or $8) and can be purchased locally.
