When using mineral spirits for inpsecting correction, should I use it straight from the bottle or should it be diluted like an IPA? Any concerns for use with different types of clear coat?

I'm having some issues using IPA as it seems to be causing some micro-maring.

Oh and this is my first post here, I've been lurking for quite some time. I must say this is quickly becoming my favorite forum on net! The amount of knowledge here is incredible. :dblthumb2:

No, you don't dilute the MS.

There is an article mike wrote around here somewhere. Maybe someone on a computer can post the link?

According to chemists, this is the way to go.

Hey Dan,

:welcome: To Autogeek Online!

You should use mineral spirits full strength and it is no water soluble.

Clear coats are very tough and their chemical composition is not affected by mineral spirits..

I remember Mike Phillips writing in a thread that that's what the chemists at Meguiar's do.
