Hows it going? Just curious to know what those of you who have used these LC purple buffing pads feel about them.

For the past month, Ive been doing my best to get my 105/205 process down pack. It wasn't until last week, that I tried the 105 on a wool pad, and to my surprise it worked awesome. The only thing about this is, the compounding pads that I have are heavy, heavy duty. Just wanting something a little less aggressive.

What do you all think?

Never used them. Like you said, wool+M105 is a great combo. Try the LC Purple foamed wool and also the Megs burg wool as 2 lesser degrees of aggressiveness than the 3M white wool. I was using it today with a yellow B & S pad and it worked very well with my rotary, not so well with the DA.

The three least aggressive wool pads are the Dynabrade wool pad, the LC Purple Foamed Wool pad and the 3M SuperBuff 2+2 Wool pad. I like the 3M the best because it has outlasted all other wool pads that I have tried and doesn't shed at all.
