You got the pad rejuv? that would not be for microfibers in the washing machine. But I think most of us just wash the micro's in the washing machine by them self and make sure not to use softners or dryer sheets.

yes i got the pad rejuv. i just read somewhere where someone used it on there microfiber towles and it gave them some life back in them. Ive had my mobile detailing biz for 2 years now and always wash mine in the washer. def without softener or dryer sheets. about to do my yearly round of towel buying and was just wondering what you full time detailers do to get the most life out of your towels.got the pad rejuv for my pads but just wondering about towels. thanks for the info

I've heard of people using pad rejuvenator for their towels, but I just Murphy's oil soap and white vinegar. Use the Murphy's like you would a regular detergent, and put some white vinegar in during the rinse cycle. I usually do an extra rinse after the cycle with the vinegar. Dry on low. My towels are softer now than they've ever been.

I usually soak my MF towels in DP first, then I take them out and wash in the washer as usual. I don't add any additional DP, just my regular 'free' detergent and some vinegar. Then I soak my pads separately, wash them by agitating in the sink, then let them air dry.

Because of washing my items in the family machine I usually give them a pre-clean in a bucket of hot water and Dawn detergent.
Pads
I spray them with Meguiar's Super Degreaser, let them sit then in the bucket they go. I'll kneed them a bit to agitate the solution forcing the contaminates out of the pad.
Microfiber Towels
I'll spray those heavily soiled areas with Meguiar's Super Degreaser or Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner, let them sit then in the bucket they go. I'll also kneed them a bit to agitate the solution forcing the contaminates to dissolve.
Once this is done into the washer they go and I use one of the Microfiber Detergents that go on sale. Occasionally a little white vinigar to soften them up, and never use a fabric softener.
Line dry or in the dryer on low heat setting.
