I have Power Gloss, looking for what has more cut.

Do you need bigger rocks in a bottle? :wow:

Have you tried 105 with a Surbuf pad?

Four Star HCC is even bigger rocks in a bottle. It cuts 1000 grit out of medium/hard clear with ease. 3m has similar cut to menzerna, just doesn't finish as nicely if you work it to completion.

Also, for heavier cutting you can look into 3m paste marine compound. The paste cuts fast but is a bear to get off and finishes with all kinds of swirls. You will need to step down with at least 2 steps to get a nice finish.

Why would you want to compound out deep scratches? Better(safer) to knock them down with sandpaper than grind away at them with a buffer. Plus the finish will end up looking better too.

I think 3M Super Duty is more aggressive than Menz Power Gloss, at least that is my direct, hands-on experience... I mean, 3M Super duty says "Causes Cancer" on the label, that seems pretty aggressive!

:iagree:

3M Extra Cut definitely cuts more than Power Gloss. It will leave the finish pretty swirled up though. I haven't had to bust out either in some time now.

3M Super Duty (aka..."rocks in a bottle") is some nasty stuff (at least it was when I used it) and I'd suggest staying away from it.

:iagree: It's come in handy, and can do a good job, like for the initial Compounding of my Audi but I just don't like it.

The paint on the 2011 Jetta (black) is proving very hard. SIP got out most of the scratches. Took forever, and that was just the test spot :bash:

What pad were you using?

SIP was used on an orange LC CCS pad. I tried P1 and System 51 on wool and a white Hex Logic pad, zero effect.
