Here are some pics. This is not a machined sample but different molded part.

New BP with 5.5-in ccs pad against 6.5-in LC Red pad. There is about 4 mm clearance from edge of plate and edge of this pad.

I wish they had the 3.5" BP for 4" pads. I wouldn't have to drag the PC out anymore if they did.

Hold on....
Did you buy that or make that? I thought the new mini bp was 4-3/8"

If I'm looking at the tape measure correctly it appears to read 4-3/8".

Thanks for the picture Al. I'm thinking even though a 4" pad would leave a lip sticking out on it with that plate... It might still be safer than the edge adapter with 4" cyclo pads I use. After the adventures I had with that last week... That center hex area on the adapter coming through is just not something Sky wants to see again :)

Wow I just realized this will probably let me use a lot of my older pads that have smaller diameter velcro, with the Flex. On another note, you guys figure using the 5.5 pads vs. 6.5 will try to walk you less?

Ha!

You guys are right. It is 4 3/8-in. I do not know how I got 4 7/8-in. At least I used a tape measure so I could check it. (The metric was a math conversion).

This is the actual part from Flex. It is not a cut down version. I just got it this weekend so have not had a chance to use it.

I will put a 4-in pad on and take a pic.

Wait...what happened? I have the Edge adapter for my Flex but I've never gotten around to using it. Is this just with the 4" pads?
