I have been looking at pressure washers all day, reading on gogle and various detailing forums and I still have no clue which one to buy.

I would like a 2200-2500PSI pressure washer. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg for it but I want it to last

Can anyone help

Are you looking to do pressure washing of things other than cars? 2200-2500PSI is way too high for automotive use IMHO....

If I was you, I would get a cheep electric one. Unless you get a pressure washer with a triplex pump (and that = $$$$!!!), they won't last anyway.

Not entirely true. The way it's set up to the tank makes a huge difference.

I use an electric one all day long .... 5-15 cars a day

I have bought 2 in the past two years and they both still work well
don't drive over the hoses and throw down the nozzles and they will
last a long time

I kinda remember cost around $190 HD or Lowes

It's 1850 psi and comes with a few different nozzles

I'm too spoiled with mine to detail without it. I turn down the throttle, change the nozzle tip, and clean door hinge/jamb area, engine bay, wheels/wells, and floor mats if needed...then followed by the extractor.

It's one I bought locally from Ameritech Mfg. 6hp Honda, 2500psi. The wand is 2' long. I mostly use the white tip for rinsing the car and washing the mats and the yellow tip for door jams.

Never used a pressure washer for jambs..... how does that not spray water all in the interior?!?!?!? Really just curious.... so used to doing them by hand.

I use Croftgate Aquanil for the door jambs to afraid of soaking the interior. I use a Craftsman 1800psi electric that i bought at sears for like $170 i think run buy my power inverter and it works just fine and its craftsman so it should last awhile.

Like I said before, I turn down the throttle first before doing it. It's a technique I've used since day one. The next chance I get I'll make a video to share. It doesn't soak or saturate the interior like many may think. If it did...I wouldnt keep doing it. I'll post a video soon!!
