Ok Sants was good to me along with a little help from AG :righton: . Pictures of my probelms to follow. These are the products that I have to work with...AIO,DC1,Older mix of Optimum polish,DP Super Swirl Eliminator,4*UPP,XMT Carnuaba Finishing Glaze,Natty's blue,S100,IW845,Diamonddite speed clay, and AW. I just got the 7424 intro kit with 2 orange and blk pads. I am placing an order for the ne LC pads 2 of the blue, white, green to finish out the pads. I have light to moderate swirls and also I think its called marring? on the hood. I have read to use the least amount of correction. I have a 2006 Acura Tl Mid night black pearl. This will be my first time with the PC. I dont want to do the same step over and undo a former step. Or use two products that will accomplish the same thing. right now the TL is a daily driver but will soon become a garage queen. right now my goal is correction and protection. When it goes into the garage it will be all about the looks.
1st process:
Wash x2 using gold class
Spot clay using clay magic or the new diamonddite speed clay(anyone use this before).
DC 1 to clean it up.
Should I use Optimum all the way through and just switch pads or use the DP SSE and get the DP Finial Finishing?
AIO
4*UPP x3 24hrs apart
AW or IW845 then AW

When it moves into the garage I plan on polish then XMT Glaze topped with Natty's.

Of course who doesnt mind protection and looks. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears. I am not a pro and do not think I am going to be trying something new every month. I am placing an order to night for the pads so something else wont be a big deal but I do not want to drop another 100 bucks. Thanks so much for everyones input. Pictures to follow.

Bags, if that was my car I would:
Wash- Megs Gold Class is fine.
Clay- Blue Magic is great. I have the diamonddite speed clay, haven't use the stuff.
Polish- Optimum compound. Never tried DP Super Swirl Eliminator. (Optimum is that just the polish or polishing compound you have?) (Do you have XMT3?)
And I can polish with AIO after using Optimum compound. And you will need a cutting pad to get them swirls out. Setting on PC 5-6. Remember to work the polish in untill it breaks down. Work slow back and forth up and down. Then wipe off with MF.
Wax-S100
I order the Natty's Blue, what I've heard it's great stuff. Can't wait to get it.

In the past I've used mostly Megs pads, and had LC polishing pads white and black (more of a dark gray). Never used LC orange pad. I realy can't comment on LC pads. I'm using edge pads now.

ok. Is it better to use more aggresive pad or polish? If I use the Opt. it will depend on the pad to do the correction since Opt. says it can be used for all stages of polishing. If I use the DP Super swirl remover I would start with a less cut pad then work my way down to the orange pad. But I dont want to start with the orange cut and the DP right.
