I'm looking at a different compound and was wondering if the new microfiber systems compound was better then the ultimate compound. THe ultimate compound is a lot cheaper and easier to get locally.
thanks

Ultimate Compound is a very easy to use, efficient and well-priced product. It offers great cut, long work time and less dusting than M105.

Do you have any more info on what you're trying to accomplish?

I'm just looking for something to remove swirl marks and light scratches on my cars.

Do you have a machine polisher at this point? Or are you looking to pick one up?

UC should do just fine. I hope you plan on using a polisher. ;)

Ahhh, you have the best DA. ;) UC should do great. What pad do you plan on using?

I found over on the Meg's site that in the aggresive scheme of things the D300 MF correction compound comes in under M105 and before UC. So if the "start with least aggresive" approach is used do a test with the UC then step up. I am like you in that I have all 3 but plan on going with the UC on the MF disc and see what happens. Also using a GG DA.

Yeah could you pm the link also that would be great. ALso i'm using the orange lake country pad. I would probably use the white or grey pad with my pinnicle polish after this. I just picked up a bottle of the UC from walmart for $7.50, can't beat that.

Wow!, hit twice with verify. Guys this is what I found at Megs forums regarding D300....Category Megs 2011 New Product Reviews, thread- "Re Using Megs DA M/F Correction System", page 7, post #65 by Mike Stoops..." as for cut scale - we don't rate it as such in the context of the Mirror Glaze line, but expect it to be somewhere between Ultimate Compound and M105". Sorry I haven't the knowledge yet on how to link from one place to another.
