so I let someone else wash my car (i know...i know) and it now has some light swirl marks....If I wanted to drive it to a show today, is there a temporary coverup? It is a LeMans Blue C6 vette

I read you can use glaze for temporary cover up the swirls.

Hey Bobby,
If I'm not mistaken Pinnacle Paint Cleaner has a bunch of fillers as well...

Meguiar's NXT 2.0 works quite well at filling swirls - not very durable though, IME. You can usually find it at Wal-Mart or any auto parts store that sells Meg's products.

I have NXT2.0 already and a pinnacle "paintwork cleansing lotion" if thats the same? I bought a turtle wax "black detailer" spray last night....it claims to fill in swirl marks.

You can pick up some Autglym Super Resin Polish at your local Pep Boys, does a decent job and you should see 3 months protection out of it alone.

Paintwork cleansing lotion is designed to remove things like wax and sealant.

Nothing will completely cover up swirls.

When I applied the PaintCleanig lotion on a black vehicle I could've swore it filled in some light swirls?!?!?! My guess it has filler properties....

The best product to fill swirls used to be 3M "Fill 'n glaze" (the pink stuff). Someone needs to chime in and tell us what product replaced that one.

Poorboys Black Hole will take care of light swirls. Follow with wax or sealant.
