Anyone know if there are any classes in the NY, NJ, PA area? I'm looking to perfect a few techniques and get some info regarding a few aspects of detailing but i don't have the time or $ at the moment to travel to FL for classes.

Any help is appreaciated.

I'm trying to get some hands on instruction with da or rotary polishing. Everything I've learned is from mikes videos (which is great) but having an expert show me how he uses say 105 and some other products.

I'd love to take a trip out to long island but it's a solid 2 hours from me and my free time is very limited.

The only other that I know is in Pittsburgh PA and that's a pretty far shot from you I'd imagine. Are you anywhere near Harrisburg (south Central) PA? I'd be glad to help you where I could. I don't know that i am an expert but I do this for a living and like to think that I have sorted out most of my bad habbits.

the one in Pittsburg is Detail King. It is actually this weekend. They have a 2 -3 day class at the end of every month. Just go to detailking.com for the info. I haven't attended one yet, but its the only one in our area.

Where are you located? Kleen Car here in NJ in the GWB area has pay classes on how to be a pro detailer. PAL Automotive in Piscataway NJ is a Meg's distributor and has in the past sponsored classes taught by the regional Meg's rep...I'm not sure he's done this recently and you'd probably have to call Mark at PAL and express interest and maybe he will do it again. Then there is Poorboy's in Nyack NY who usually holds some sort of detail day about twice a year where you can learn and watch, etc. Detailer's Domain in Norwood NJ has also been known to hold open houses and there probably has been some hands-on stuff going on...but I never seem to find out about them in time to attend.
