...they don't offer this in smaller sizes? I have 5 vehicles in my family. I've been using XMT360 but have wanted to get something with a little more "cut". D151 comes highly recommended and is a bargain at $30/gal... It would take me a LONG time to use that much.
Just seems like a smart marketing/sales team would recognize a need for a smaller unit of issue. (Hello Meguiar's? Are you reading these boards?) Mark it up a little more maybe. Offer it OTC like other items in the line.
Not everyone is running a commercial operation.
Thanks AG, for a great site. I just placed another order this week too. :props:

I often wondered that myself. I guess being part of the detailer line is why it is only available in the gallons but it is such a good product that offering it in smaller sizes would expand it's sales vastly! On the other hand it is only 30 a gallon! Pretty cheap for that much of a quality product!

You can buy it from vendors online in smaller sizes.

I'll trade you a 12oz bottle for something if you want.

To answer your question, D-151 is marketed to the high volume detailer for rapid turnover of vehicles by offering it as an AIO product.
I too would like to buy smaller sizes for using on family/friend's cars. I am hoping the new DA-MF system is that quick easy 2 stepper for those cars.

Here is what I've been using: wash, clay, and PC with a Lake Country orange pad, XMT360. 2nd step w LC white pad and XMT360 but not as much 360. Last product is some Megs Gold Carnuba paste wax.
2 of our cars I could use a little more cut I think. i don't have pics, but from what i've seen on this site, I just need to be a little more aggressive. So maybe a yellow pad with the 360 would do it. Or, go with the 105/205 combo. I also have some DP poli-Coat and Collinite 845 coming as my new last steps. Gonna try XMT360, the Poli-Coat, and then the Collinite 845.
Just having fun...I have seen a huge difference just comparing this years outcome to what I did in the past, which was all by hand. Wash and wax pretty much with whatever was on sale.
Last year my oldest worked at a Lexus dealership on a detail crew. He learned much about what NOT to do!

Not so much on the yellow pads. they are very coarse. I actually like the Ultimate Compund a little better than 105 just because it is a little easier to work with and less messy.
I would try either 105 or UC on an orange pad before going to anything on a yellow.
