Good upper body workout - Buffing out Bruno's RV (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/33783-good-upper-body-workout-buffing-out-bruno-s-rv.html)

Last week we washed and pressure washed Bruno's RV, this week we're detailing it. Jason and Nick are tackling the 6 aluminum wheels while I tackle the paint. After wheels and tires, Nick's going to work on the interior...

I'm taking pictures as we work around the RV and posting to my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mike-Phillips/160604287306951?ref=sgm) if you want to take a look.

Now that I've started this thread I'll try to update it with Tapatalk

Must be nice having a warehouse big enough to work on that thing inside without the sun beating down on you the entire time!

Though from the looks of it, you've just barely got enough clearance for the roof!

Hey Mike, it's definitley a better work out than those "shake weights" you've been using ;)

Hey Mike, it's definitely a better work out than those "shake weights" you've been using ;)

LOL

For the record... I was in the gym at 7:00am this morning, shoulders and arms today... made the Griot's Garage DA Polisher feel heavy!

Good thing you got help. Gonna be a lot if work. Still more fun of an upper body workout then filling in a pool! Lol! Good luck!

Some people are gonna have no clue what I am talking about.

Great job on a huge surface. The pics on FB show a nice, shiny RV.

But what about before and afters on the interior? And what product and technique was used on the wheels.

I love seeing these unusual vehicle results.

Here's a couple of before shots I took last week before we started washing it...

These were probably done at the factory, just a guess but I also so pigtails in the paint... that's usually a sign of machine sanding and then of course you would compound with a wool pad on a rotary buffer to remove the sanding marks.

Wow. Those are not buffer trails, they are buffer interstates!

LOL

When he came in this morning I told I would get the RV ready for him to buff out and he told me to keep getting it ready till it was done then come and get him.

 that's an RV? What next, a bus?

Come to think of it, there are probably a few school buses in the area that could use the gentle kiss of a wool pad attached to a rotary with a few dots of M105. :xyxthumbs:
