The last time I tried M205 and ScratchX by hand with a foam applicator pad, I made some light swirling with them to where I just ended up using a PC on the entire pannel instead to take care of it. It was probably too much pressure and maybe the pad too, that and a softer finish that is red. I have discovered a couple of small areas of light scratches that don't really warrant me getting out PC 7424 and going over the entire pannels, so I really want to try getting them out by hand first. What are the best pads or applicators to use by hand when using either of these products? Is it best to lightly prime the applicator pad beofre using wither by hand?
Also, is there anything else out there (doesn't have to be any specific brand) that is gentle enough to not induce swirls yet remove scratches?
